Donate in Honor of Someone

Please remember Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera

With a gift to a loved one.

Sometimes it’s hard to find the perfect gift – especially for a friend or loved one who has everything or lives far away. For this reason, my family and I have given each other donations to requested charities for years. It’s always appreciated and adds meaning for all of us.

This year, we are also encouraging our supporters to donate to ATCF in honor of a friend or loved one. You can do this by selecting that option under the donate button, or by cash, check, or credit card. Be sure to send an email to [email protected] and include the name, address, and email address of the recipient and ATCF will send them a card notifying them of your gift.

Why Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera? The first steps on the road to Peace are face-to-face contact and conversation. For 20 years, ATCF has been helping people start that journey – taking delegations to meet and break bread with maquiladora workers, labor activists, and families living in towns on the Mexican border.

It can be life-changing to witness, first-hand, conditions of social and economic injustice and the difference that community-driven struggle and transnational solidarity can make in people’s lives. Many of our delegates go on to be activists in this country and their experience on our delegations always informs their work. The current demonization of immigrants, asylum seekers, Mexico, and other Latin American countries makes contact more important now than ever.
